Tap Add Card in Admin to open the camera or photo library. Grandpa's face beats a generic pictogram every time — and you can replace starter cards one by one or build a board from scratch with only your pictures.
Become an Agent
Pick a code name and avatar to make the board feel like theirs. A friendly identity that motivates kids to reach for it and keep communicating.
Tap to speak
High-contrast cards on a clean board. Every tap speaks the label out loud — Yes, No, More, Help, plus 128 ready-made starter cards you can customize with real photos.
Quick Words
Pin the words your child uses most in an always-visible row above the grid — drag cards in and out anytime.
Build sentences
Combine words and pictures into full messages on one calm screen. Tap the keyboard icon to swap the grid for inline spelling — tap again for pictures. Edit or remove any chip before you Speak.
Voices that fit
Choose a system voice and adjust speech rate and pitch in Control Panel. Test before handing the device back so every custom card sounds right.
Protected Admin
Tap the gear icon + Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode. Optional Require hold in Control Panel for shared devices. Share and Add Card are separate buttons. Student-safe mode and calm theme keep Speak distraction-free.
Family sharing
With Plus, custom cards back up to iCloud. Send an invite link from Admin → Share. Your child opens it on their Apple ID for a read-only board that updates as you add cards. Stop sharing anytime — you'll send a fresh link if you share again.
