Where can I download Autism Agent? Free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad — search for Autism Agent or use the link.
Can I use my own photos instead of pictograms? Yes — that's one of the main reasons to use Autism Agent. Admin → Add Card opens your camera first, with recent library photos below. Snap Grandpa, a favorite food, or a daily routine, write the spoken label, and it becomes a tap-to-speak card. You can replace starter pictograms one by one or build a board that's entirely your pictures. See custom photo cards or the Admin tutorial.
How do I open Admin? Tap the gear icon on the Speak screen, then authenticate with Face ID or passcode. Optional: Control Panel → Speak Screen → Require hold for Admin if a child shares the device.
How do I switch between picture cards and the keyboard? Tap the keyboard icon on the mode bar — the grid swaps to an inline spelling keyboard on the same screen. Tap the picture icon to show cards again. See the keyboard tutorial.
How do I add cards? Admin → Add Card → take a photo or pick from your library → label + category. See Admin tutorial.
How do I share cards with my child? Subscribe to Autism Agent Plus, open Admin → Share, and send the invite link. On their device, install the app, complete setup, and open the link while signed into their Apple ID. Full sharing guide.
Can viewers reuse an old share link after I stop sharing? No. Stop sharing ends the old invite. Tap Share again on your device to create a new link and send it to viewers.
What happens on my child's device when I stop sharing? Shared cards disappear after iCloud sync. Speak shows a Family sharing ended banner with Use my own board to load starter cards and restore Admin. The same action is in Control Panel → Shared Board.
How do I pin Quick Words? On Speak, drag a card from the grid into the Quick Words row at the top. Drag back down to unpin. Reloading starter cards restores the default pins (Yes, No, More, Help, and more).
What if iCloud sync or sharing gets stuck? Control Panel → Rebuild iCloud database, then fully close and reopen the app. Rebuild fixes the sync mirror — it does not delete your cards. Send a fresh share link afterward if family sharing was active.
What happens if Plus lapses? Your cards stay on the device. iCloud sync and sharing pause until you resubscribe — Control Panel → Restore Purchases.
How do I restore my subscription? Control Panel → Restore Purchases.
How do I load or remove starter cards? Control Panel → Load common starter cards, or Remove all starter cards (custom cards you added stay).
